Stop Piles Bleeding
It is always crucial that you seek medical help especially if the piles are already bleeding and becomes more painful.
Here are some conventional and traditional treatments for piles.
* Traditional treatments.
The traditional treatments for piles include keeping the anal area clean with the use of mild soap, dab gently after a bowel movement and avoid vigorous rubbing; keeping the area as dry as possible,
Try using talcum powder and soft tissue to aid in keeping them dry; eating a diet that is high in fiber and roughage; avoiding straining during a bowel movement; and soaking the area in a hot tub at least 10-20 minutes.
* Ligation.
This is a common method that is used to cure piles. It is a process used to treat internal piles by using a small rubber band to tie off the swollen vein’s base.
It prevents the blood to circulate in that particular area, so the piles then fall off.
* Infrared Photocoagulation.
This technique uses an infrared light source to coagulate internal veins of the piles, and cure piles.
Most cases would require more than one treatment until the piles are gone.
* Lasers. This makes use of high-intensity light beams that are directed to the affected tissues to cure piles.
The piles are then cauterized and coagulated afterwards.
However, this technique is still under study and research phase and maybe applicable in the future.
* Surgery.
This should be the last resort if all else fail. Surgery is usually intended to cure piles that are already too large, irreversible, profusely bleeding, very painful, and has already developed clots.
